It’s Been 52 Years Now

It has been 52 years now. My beloved brother, a man of true substance, departed this realm of existence in June of 1974. He was twenty-three years old. His sudden death, of a cerebral hemorrhage, hit us all like a bolt of lightning. We were all (my family of five) sitting in the living room of our house talking. A friend of my father was visiting. All of a sudden my brother keeled over and fell onto the floor unconscious. He died right before our eyes with no warning. Before the ambulance even got there, he was exhibiting what is termed “the death rattle”, a truly horrible sound. I felt as if a giant had picked me up and flung me against a brick wall. I was numb and in pain at the same time.

As Einstein noted, time is a stubbornly persistent illusion. My wonderful memory of our time together is still so fresh and clear in my mind that it seems impossible that over eighteen thousand days have passed since his death. While his body stopped functioning, his energy, his essence, continues on in another realm of existence. I will experience pure joy when I reunite with him after my own body stops functioning.

At the time of his death, before the full weight of the grief set in, I felt white hot anger. I felt that this had to be some colossal cosmic blunder. The grim reaper made a grossly stupid mistake and took the wrong person. My brother had so very much good to offer this oft-times crappy world. In a heartbeat, I would have offered myself in his place if only given the opportunity. That is not how the Universe operates however. We all have a number when we come out of the womb and when that number is up, it’s up.

Over twenty years ago, I had a random conversation with the owner of a computer repair shop. I complimented him on his competency and honesty as to fixing my computer and jokingly told him that he had a spot reserved for him in Heaven, The shop owner looked at me with eyes that had experienced suffering and said, “All I want when I get there is some answers.” To that I simply replied, “Amen brother”.

Growing Up Together

My brother was three years older than me, having been born in 1950. We grew up together in the era of the 1950’s and 1960’s. We shared a ton of experiences together in our modest two bedroom home in southern New Jersey. Baseball, football, basketball, hiking, camping, biking, swimming at the lake at our grandparents’ house, playing cards and board games, clowning around together around the house, going “into town” on the bus, Saturday matinee at the movies, going to the park with Mom, dealing with our father’s temper tantrums, even deep discussions about the meaning of life. Up until the early 1960’s, we even shared a bed. I still remember talking and joking after we went to bed and “Move over, you’re on my side”. My sister was born in 1959. When she outgrew her crib, she moved into our bedroom and our father cobbled together bedrooms up in the attic for me and my brother.

One night when our father was somewhat out of control, my brother stood up to him and basically told him to “knock it off”. Our father was angered by that and clearly displayed his anger. My brother did not engage but simply starting walking away from the house. He was around eight or nine years old. His intention was to walk to our grandparents’ house. As he started walking down the main artery in town that went in that direction, he came to the realization that it was much too far to walk there. He passed a produce stand and saw that they had Winesap apples. He knew Mom loved that variety of apples. After a short while, my worried Mom got in the family car to look for my brother. She saw him sitting on the steps of a business on that main artery, eating an apple, with a small basket of apples next to him. Mom pulled up to him in the car and he said “Hi Mom, I got you some of those apples that you love.”

As the years progressed, we each developed our own individual skills and personalities, strengths and weaknesses. We had occasional squabbles as do all brothers, but not all that many. We always remained close and loyal to each other. When he got involved in high school and college activities and got a girlfriend, I saw less of him but our brotherly bonds of affection always remained solid.

Demonstrating the Presence of the Most High

We are all created in the image of the Most High. As such, we have the privilege to have the opportunity to demonstrate that Presence through how we choose to conduct our life. This is accomplished by expressing high frequency energy sequences emanating from the Divine. These expressions include: love, peace, strength, compassion, truth, imagination and creativity. Throughout my brother’s life, right on up to the end, he demonstrated all of these aspects. He packed so much fullness of life into those twenty-three years.

The Book of Job

The biblical book of Job is a fascinating study in human emotion. I have always believed that there was much more to the story than what you see on the surface. By that I mean a deeper meaning below the surface story. There is scarcely any suffering that a human can experience that Job did not experience. Job pleads his case with raw honesty about the injustice of his suffering but still states, “Though you slay me, yet will I hope in You.” He is steadfast in his refusal to curse God.

The zinger comes in within chapter 28 when Job states, “Whence then cometh wisdom? And where is the place of understanding?……it is hidden from the eyes of all living.”

A Person of True Substance

What does it mean to be a person of true substance? It has absolutely nothing to do with the wealth that you possess, the possessions that you own, or the level of control that you exercise over others. A person of substance is defined by a series of lifelong choices. Free will. Then thoughts, words and actions to implement those choices. Choices that demonstrate the presence and glory of the Divine.

Choices that involve deciding what must be done now, versus what can wait, versus what does not have to be done at all. Whether to choose prudent caution or take a risk and potentially experience failure. Conforming to the norms of society or following your inner light if that light differs from societal norms. Understanding with total clarity what is true and right and making that the only road that you travel in life.

Carl Jung

Have you ever heard of the man named Carl Jung? He is recognized as one of the most influential psychiatrists of all time. He founded the field of analytical psychiatry and was among the first in his field to explore the religious nature behind human psychology. He is an interesting guy.

Take a look at this statement from Jung:

“In this overpoweringly humdrum existence, alas, there is little out of the ordinary that is healthy, and thus, not much room for conspicuous heroism. Not that heroic demands are never put on us – on the contrary – and this is so irritating and irksome – the banal everyday makes banal demands upon our patience, our devotion, our perseverance, our self-sacrifice. For us to fulfill these demands (as we must) humbly and without courting applause through heroic gestures, a heroism is needed that cannot be seen from the outside. It does not glitter. It is not belauded. It always seeks concealment in everyday attire.”

If you take a close look at some of those that appear to be people of substance , you sometimes will find under the surface a person who is merely self-seeking. Take a second look at that quote from Jung. Men and women of true substance are often much closer that you think. My brother was one of them.

Choices

With regard to the life of my brother, he substantially made the right choices in life – a man of true substance. In Shakespeare’s As You Like It, Jaques states in Act II, “All the world’s a stage. And all the men and women merely players; they have their exits and entrances, and one man in his time plays many roles.” It was my true privilege to play the part of “brother” to my dear brother. We were much more than siblings. We were true brothers. When you come to the end of your stay here on planet earth, you will have to ask yourself some hard questions. What choices did you make? Did you enhance life or subtract from it? Did you fully use what you had to work with or did you waste most of what you had? Did you give it your best or were you content to just coast through life?

Wherever you are now on your life journey – beginning, middle or near the end – you always have a choice. You can make choices that demonstrate true substance. Or you can settle for living a life of smoke and mirrors, masks and facades. If you make the choice to endeavor to be a person of substance, you most assuredly will not only enrich your life experience but will also contribute to the enrichment of others, and in fact, the entire universe.

The choice is yours. It always has been. It will continue to be so until your very last breath. Then the book of your life will be closed, game over. Choose well and live fully.

It Is Coming – Be Ready

Many years ago I took my kids on a road trip during the summer. I had some vacation time available from my employer so I took off for two weeks for our road trip. The first part of the trip was to Cooperstown, New York to take in the Baseball Hall of Fame and some other local attractions. The second part of the trip was going to be to visit and tour the Gettysburg Battlefield in central Pennsylvania. As we drove to Gettysburg via the Pennsylvania Turnpike, along a stretch of the turnpike up ahead, I saw an extreme cover of almost pitch black storm clouds. It looked like you were going to drive smack into the end of the world, The weather forecast had called for rain but nothing like we were about to go through. Where we were it was still not raining and partially sunny but I knew that was going to drastically change up ahead on the road.

Along this stretch of the road, the shoulder was minimal. As this road was a high speed limit road, I felt it was not safe to pull over to the narrow shoulder with three kids in the car. I could definitely picture the possibility of getting rammed from behind by a reckless driver. Before we actually came to the group of the blackest storm clouds I have ever seen, I made every effort to be ready and prepared. I slowed my vehicle speed to the lowest safe speed. Then, the emergency flashers came on. The kids were counseled to refrain from distracting me as I drove through the upcoming quagmire. Most importantly, I advised them to pray that we get through this safely ( as I was doing myself).

We hit the downpour and nature was throwing full buckets of water at my windshield. The wiper blades were going at top speed and were barely able to maintain visibility. It was as if night had replaced day. Visibility was reduced to the area directly in front of the car. I still remember how incredibly tight that I was holding the steering wheel. The downpour did not last long and we made it through safely. Before hitting what I called “the clouds of doom”, knowing and understanding what was coming up allowed us to be ready for the chaotic weather.

The Worldwide Storm Is Coming

In the world today, threats to “the common man” ( a phrase that also includes women and children) seem to be lurking around every corner. Man-made pandemics, wars and rumors of wars, famine, drought, 7/24 surveillance, unnatural weather patterns, artificial intelligence takeover and so on. The controllers will do whatever they think is necessary to maintain control over your life. They have no limits. Your life has little value for them except for how they can control you to enrich their lives and feed their need for power and control. The evil controlling rulers of a country in the news recently murdered thirty thousand of its country’s citizenry so that they can be the ones to tell everyone how they should live and how they should think.The world’s controllers understand however that people are waking up to what the controllers are doing and what they are up to. That means they are strategizing “the final solution”, the plan to completely and irrevocably control people worldwide. Right now the controllers need people in order to perform labor that they require for their money making activities and to keep everyone “in line”.. When they ramp up artificial intelligence and the technology to create high-level robots and androids to do what is mostly done by humans now, where do you think you will be on their priority list. Hint: Think Low or No Priority.

Cameras, Cameras, Everywhere

The surveillance state is not coming. It is already here. Latest figures state that as of 2026, there are close to two billion surveillance cameras employed in the world. One camera for every four people. That does not even include the proliferation of drone usage. Add facial recognition to that technology and you get “1984” in 2026. Orwell’s classic novel is turning out to be non-fiction. All these cameras are being under the guise “to better protect you”. It reminds me of that stock phrase that soulless corporations use when they want to stick it to the consumer by changing corporate policy or procedure for the corporation’s benefit. Corporate lackeys always advise the public that the changes are “to better serve you”. The day that soulless corporations want to better serve me is the day that I sprout wings and can fly like a bird.

V For Vendetta

In the movie, “V For Vendetta”, there is a scene where the big cheese is giving orders to his top underlings. He is alarmed that the people are beginning to rebel against his control. He zeroes in on the underling responsible for creating the news that gets broadcast. He bellows to him “Let them know why they need us!” Subsequently all manner of news of negative happenings and events that threaten the citizenry are the only news that comes forth from the controlled media outlets.

This is a time proven tactic by the “uppity-ups” to keep the people under their thumb – namely – F E A R. When people live in fear, their emotions take over. They will then gravitate to anyone who promises to remove the cause of the fear. One plausible scenario is the fear caused by worldwide economic chaos. Currencies around the world fall apart. Bank accounts and all other financial accounts are wide open to hackers. Counterfeiters run rampant. The controllers solution – a worldwide “safe” digital currency operated through the use of microchip implants in every man, woman and child (except the controllers) “to better protect you”. This is only one possible scenario the controllers will use to generate white hot fear in the people. There are many possible scenarios.

Your Only Safe Refuge

So with all of these possibilities coming down the road, how are you supposed to protect yourself from becoming a mindless, controlled zombie of the fat controllers? Answer: Be Ready. How do you do that you say? Answer: Enter into the Kingdom of God within. I was reading a pertinent verse just this morning from the book of Isaiah – ” Do not fear, for I AM with you; do not be dismayed (broken and anxious) for I AM your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

In scripture, the right hand symbolizes power, honor and authority, It acts as a safety net when you feel like trouble will overcome you. There was a Dutch woman named Corrie Ten Boom who was incarcerated in a nazi concentration camp during world war 2. After the war she wrote a book of her experiences titled “The Hiding Place”. During all the persecution and hardship she endured, God remained her “hiding place” within her soul. And she survived. Ans she thrived after the war. When the “final solution” is rolled out by the evil controllers of this world, let your entire focus be of the presence of God with you always. By entering the Kingdom of God, through God, you can then manifest safe passage through the storm. Your soul shall not be corrupted unless of course, through your free will, you choose it to be.

The Principle Is The Same

I have spoken many times on this website about manifesting good things in your life through the power of your chosen belief. Jesus Christ spoke with crystal clarity when he said “Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” This eternal principle for manifesting good things in your life is the same for receiving strength, wisdom and comfort to deal with the coming worldwide storm, Let your soul’s focus be on the presence of God – The I Am That I Am – and the Spirit of God will guide your steps unto righteousness no matter what takes place in society.

Conceive. Believe. Receive.

Abundant Life – More Than Mere Survival

The Great Depression. The decade from 1930 to 1940 was a very difficult and challenging time for a great many people in the United States. Many lost their homes due to bank foreclosures. Many families struggled to obtain the mere basics needed for survival – a job, food, shelter, clothes, etc.My grandfather worked sixteen hour days operating a neighborhood grocery store. He not only provided his family with food but also kept many neighborhood residents from starving by letting them buy food on credit. It was a hard time and the goal of many was just to survive until the Depression ran its course.

The picture seen above is from the Franklin D, Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C. It shows five men standing in a long line to get a free bowl of soup, some bread and a cup of coffee. For many, it would be the only meal they would have that day. You can almost feel the lack of hope within them. Strong men reduced to standing in a long line just to get a bowl of soup to survive another day. Life was not meant to be that way. Life is more than mere survival. You were created to be able to express joy, love, peace, power, not just surviving until the day your body stops working. You were created to live a life abundant..

You Are NOT a Bird or Squirrel or Goose

You are a thinking, sentient being. You were blessed with a mind that allows you to think thoughts. The thoughts you choose to think then lead you to how you feel inside. How you feel inside then leads you ultimately to what you believe. What you believe then leads you to what manifests in your life. As within, so without. As above, so below. Your reality is merely a mirror reflecting back to you your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs.

You are NOT a bird or a squirrel or a goose. They survive on their inborn instincts. They are born, they live, then they die. They do not have the ability to choose their thoughts and subsequently generate feelings based on those thoughts, leading to a set of beliefs, leading to life circumstances. You do. And that makes all the difference in the world as to living abundantly as opposed to merely surviving until you die.

At Birth, You Were Greatly Blessed

At birth, you were already greatly blessed. You were blessed with a mind that allows you to choose what you think. Yes, I know full well that there are some that are born are presented with challenges to their thinking abilities. In the grand scheme of things, these dear souls are teachers, teaching those who care for them, however challenging that may be, the true meaning of love and compassion. The great majority of humans on this planet are not presented with said challenges to their thinking abilities. You have the full ability, the free will to choose what thoughts to nurture and retain. Continued thoughts along a certain line inevitably lead you to the way you feel inside. Those thoughts, in union with how you feel, and what you believe, then engage in creating the tenor of you life and the manifestations within it.

I Get It

I get it. You have human needs. Food, drink, clothes, fulfilling interaction with other humans, various possessions that you utilize for your activities. You need to work to get the money to buy the food, drink, clothes and necessary possessions. It can bring you to exhaustion in dealing with the need to generate income and dealing with all manner of personal interactions. This is especially true when you choose to connect with other humans who are not on the same wavelength with you. Nevertheless, no matter what, you still retain the free will over your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Those three things are what the fat controllers of the world love to get their hands on, so to speak. When they control your thoughts, feelings and beliefs, of course, they control you also. When that happens, your hope of living abundantly withers away. That can only happen however if you choose to allow it to happen.

This Moment Contains All Moments

The above quote comes courtesy of C.S. Lewis. It echoes the words of the 13th century theologian and teacher Meister Eckhart. Eckhart stated, ” There exists only the present instant…a Now which always and without end is itself new. There is no yesterday nor any tomorrow, but only Now.”

It is vital to you, if you really and truly desire to live an abundant life and manifest all manner of wonderful things in your life, to make the choice to acknowledge the Presence of God in each and every moment of your life. That is your golden key. That is your way out of just merely surviving until the Grim Reaper comes and you die. That is your golden ticket to abundant life. In the book of Proverbs, it is stated, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.”

Again from C.S. Lewis, “If you picture Time as a straight line along which we have to travel, then you must picture God as the whole page on which the line is drawn. We must come to the parts of the line one by one. We have to leave A behind before we get to B, and cannot get reach C until we leave B behind. God, from above or outside or all around, contains the whole line, and sees it all.”

OK, What’s In It For You

OK, you say, what if I buy into what you are saying. What’s in it for me? How about this, my friend -Peace, Joy. Love. Strength. Power. The ability to shape your circumstances instead of being shaped by circumstances. To live in the freedom of the Kingdom of God instead of the enslavement of the fat controllers of this world.

The Part You Do NOT Want To Hear

Now we come to the part that you do NOT want to hear. Manifesting an abundant life for yourself takes hard work, faith and persistence. Every time doubt and fear try to slip into the living quarters of your mind, you must firmly show them the exit and demand that they leave. Doubt and fear are psychotic in their persistence to try and control you. Once they control you, they are NOT pleasant controllers. You can and you must maintain focus on the Presence of God within. Jesus Christ stated clearly, the Kingdom of God is within. That is where your focus needs to be maintained. This world is absolutely chock full of all manner of distractions. Show them all “the door” and you will ultimately live a truly abundant life with all types of beautiful manifestations. Remember these three ingredients – Thoughts. Feelings. Beliefs.

Conceive. Believe. Receive.

Write Your Own Obituary Now

When the time comes when a person’s physical body stops functioning and they move in spirit to the next realm, the funeral home handling the burial or cremation of the body usually puts together a short obituary on their website. Perhaps an obituary is published in a local newspaper. So just what is an obituary? An obituary is a sort of short written story that summarizes the person’s life, their different achievements and overall character.

One manifesting exercise that you can choose to do is to sit down and write your own obituary. Your past. Your present. Your future. Not necessarily as it was or is. Instead write an obituary of your life as you desire it to be in your past, as you desire it to be in your present, as you desire it to be in your future. You, and you alone, will be the only person to read this obituary. You can be totally free to write down whatever your unshackled imagination chooses to create. Just make sure that whatever obituary you choose to relate proceeds along a path that does no harm to others or yourself. Keep it positive.

When you are finished (no rush, take all the time you need) and you read and believe your own obituary, it will serve to begin to unclog mental blockages to manifesting good things in your life.

Your Freedom To Choose

At birth, you were Divinely blessed with the freedom to choose what you think, what you feel, what you believe. God designed you in this manner. Even the angels are not permitted to interfere with your freedom of choice. As to those souls who are born with mental challenges, they have a destiny to teach love and compassion and sacrifice to their caregivers.

How are you utilizing your freedom of choice? To walk along the righteous path? Or to engage in self-destructive thoughts, words and actions that tragically waste that freedom? Only you know the answer to those questions. If you have chosen one of the many self-destructive paths, take hope my friend. If you are still breathing, if your mind can think and your heart can feel, there is most assuredly hope for you for a better and more fulfilling life.

The Revision Technique

A manifestation technique (or recipe as I like to refer to them) that was termed the revision technique was brought to light by a man named Neville Goddard. Mr. Goddard was an interesting and enigmatic man. He was an author, lecturer and mystic. He lectured to thousands of people in the 1940’s through the 1960’s. He died in 1972 at the age of 67.

One of the concepts of employing thought and feeling that he introduced to his audiences was that of revision. In revision, in your mind, you take some event that has already happened in your life, be it yesterday or twenty years ago and make the choice to revise it. If it was something that brought about negative results of some sort, Goddard said to change or revise it in your mind. Revise it to a happenstance that brought about positive results. Let your God-given imagination take you for an exhilarating ride into the land of the unseen.

Perhaps the idea of revision sounds stupid to you. It may likewise sound like you are denying reality. Well, not really. The mysterious thing about revision is that on one level of consciousness you recognize the past event or events but at the same time on an entirely different level of consciousness you are employing a method of prayer to rewire your mind and your heart. You are rewiring your mind and heart to change course and set sail for a life of peace, joy and prosperity.

The Joy of Open Fields

In my childhood, and into my adolescence, our family was most fortunate to have as part of our family, a wonderful dog that we named Whitey. He was left by the front door of our house as a puppy. He was in a blanket lined cardboard box. We heard a knock on the front door and heard a car driving away. We opened the front door and there he was. There was a small index card inside the box. It stated that he was part Shelty collie and part beagle. He was a long hair dog and he was all white in color.

Whitey was a great dog. We all loved him. He loved to go for walks. He especially loved when one of us would drive to an open meadow or field somewhere in our area of South Jersey and he could run free to his heart’s content.If a dog can feel joy, then Whitey felt it when he was allowed free reign in a field somewhere.

In the technique of revision, it is most beneficial for you to just let your imagination run free, like Whitey. Refrain from artificial restrictions. Refrain from listening to what “the world” tells you is possible. Instead, listen to the Kingdom of God within you.

Later Never Comes

This technique may or may not resonate with you. It is one of a number of techniques. If you choose to give it a whirl however, start today. Not tomorrow, Not next week. Not later because later never comes. Later is when you die. Now is the time. Even if it is a very modest (the first line of your obituary) start, now is the time. Even if it is an imperfect start (you are not sure how to structure the obituary), just get started.

Listen to this wonderful quote from the eminent theologian C.S.Lewis – “There is no other day. All days are present now. This moment contains all moments.” I will refrain from any additional commentary on what Lewis was getting at. Stop and dwell deeply on that quote. I am confident that you will understand its message.

Talk Is Cheap – Action Is Real

Talk is cheap. Like a poorly made product, to talk a good game without appropriate follow up action, produces something that easily breaks and falls apart into useless junk. Just like a math equation that is missing one of its parts, to say “I’m gonna do this”or “I’m gonna do that” is futile without including action, belief, faith and persistence. All of that equation emanates from the Kingdom of God within you.

All successful manifestations in your life originate from God – Original Source. You may disagree. That is your right by virtue of your free will. I hope that you will not disagree because the very reason for this blog is to help, in some way, souls that I will never meet or know.

You Have Nothing To Lose

OK, you have read this post this far which would indicate your interest to make things happen for a better life experience for yourself. Now comes the next step. If the technique of revision resonates with you, say to yourself in truth and honesty that you are going to put it to test. Many of Goddard’s lectures are online. He does provide examples of how engaging in revision brought about positive results.

If you are going to give it a whirl, refrain from doing it “half-assed”. By that is meant skipping a day or two or three because you are too busy or don’t feel like it. If you are going to engage in a wishy-washy type of commitment, then you might as well not even do it. Go shopping or watch Tik Tok or clip your toenails or something.

Allow me to ask you a simple question. What do you have to lose? Turn the situation over to the power of your imagination – a power granted to you and designed by God.

Let me suggest three things that you may have to lose:

Your painful suffering after repeated failures.

Your utter exhaustion from running of life’s hampster wheel.

Looking at yourself in the mirror and saying “You suck”.

Your Subconscious Mind

Your subconscious mind does not argue with you. If you make the choice, through your thoughts, words, actions and beliefs, to go here, it takes you here. If you likewise make the choice, through your thoughts, words, actions and beliefs to go there. it takes you there. The problem with this is that unconsciously we may give the word to the subconscious to drive us off the cliff, so to speak. And then we say, “Why does everything bad happen to me?:”

Relax your mind. Relax your body. Unclench your heart. Let go. Just let God do the driving. Choose to use your God-given imagination to come up with a beautiful obituary for yourself. Dwell on it before drifting off to sleep while you are still conscious but in a state akin to sleep aka SATS. (There is more about SATS in the blog post of 8/11/22). Make your imagined vision a reality in your mind. In that manner, your subconscious mind receives your transmission and goes to work at once to bring about fulfillment in the circumstances of your life.

Conceive. Believe. Receive.

Your Most Tragic Regret

In the movie, “The Matrix”, there is presented a scenario of most of the human beings on Earth, existing in billions of self-contained pods, fully asleep, yet experiencing a facsimile of life as directed and controlled by artificial intelligence machines. Neuro Electrical impulses were transmitted to their minds thus creating for them a life they were supposedly living. Yet they were all asleep. The supposed life they were living was all fake and controlled by the controllers. Humans in the pods existed as human organisms yet they were fast asleep. In their dream-like state, their minds were directed what to think, what to say, what to believe, yet it was all fake. They were imprisoned to sleep in their pods until their bodies stopped functioning. Then they were disposed of.

Suppose you somehow had a choice somewhere along the line where, due to a glitch in the matrix, you actually realized what was happening, but the fear of leaving your life in the pod guided you to remain in the “safety” of the artificial existence. When you subsequently come to the inevitable life review in the hereafter, your most tragic regret would be the unbearable anguish of realizing that you made the choice to sleep your life away. You were a pod zombie.

Living Fully – Not Just Surviving

All human beings, you, me, Joe and Jane down the street, every other human on this planet, were born with the Divine Spark of God within. You were created in order to experience the peace,the joy, the love, the strength, emanating from the kingdom of God within. Then, as you live, to reflect those qualities back into this realm to demonstrate the glory of living within the Kingdom of God. You were not just created to just eat, sleep, work, pay bills, fuck, urinate, defecate and then die. You were created to live life fully, without following the program laid out for you by the fat controllers of this world. Oh how they love to control you. You were meant by the Creator to do more than just survive until your body stops working. Your were meant to experience true living, free of the chains that the controllers use to keep you under their thumbs.

You Were Created To Create

God created the sentient beings known as humans so that they could manifest beautiful and wonderful things through the guidance of Divine Intelligence and Wisdom. Every single good thing that we manifest in life comes from following that Inner Voice, not through our own efforts alone. Without accepting the leadership of Divine Love, we can do nothing on our own. Jesus stated it quite clearly, If you try to save your life (go it alone) you will lose it. If you make the choice to “lose your life” (by voluntarily following the guidance and direction of God) you will most assuredly save it.

You look around you at your circumstances each day. You follow the dictates of what society tells you to do, directs you to do. Once you fall into line, the controlling starts and the sleeping begins. Deep inside, the have that nagging itch in your soul that says “something is wrong here – please wake up”. Your brush it aside however because of what you cannot see, cannot hear. Faith in the Presence of God means you have given up what your culture, your society urges you to do. Faith means you see only the Presence of God. The alarm clock has rung. You understand that faith allows you to see the unseen and hear the unheard. You wake up to understand that the consciousness of God is everywhere. The all-encompassing consciousness of God can be accepted by you or rejected by you. That choice has been allowed us by the Creator.

Thomas Aquinas

Perhaps the greatest Christian theologian of all time, St. Thomas Aquinas, taught that God is not a being, but rather Being Itself, transcending all finite beings, acting as the Source rather than a being within a category of finite beings. God as Being Itself, includes all Knowledge, Wisdom and Perfection.

Thomas Aquinas stopped writing his theological masterpiece, Summa Theologica, after a deeply profound mystical experience during Mass. When urged by his secretary to return to writing, Aquinas replied “I can do no more. Such things have been revealed to me that all that I have written is so much straw”.

Please Understand This – You Never Die

Of course your physical body, which houses your essence or spirit, will someday stop functioning for one reason or another. Your essence or spirit however, which is pure energy, continues on in another realm of existence. Fear of death is probably one of the biggest fears of human beings, if not the biggest. You attend a funeral. You see the lifeless body lying motionless in the coffin. What your eyes see is a total lack of life. The essence or spirit of that person has already moved on however. You are merely unable to see it. Faith wakes you up and opens your eyes. Faith is the concrete evidence – the evidence of things unseen. It is faith in allowing Divine Presence to direct your daily life that allows you to truly feel alive and manifest all manner of good things. Beautiful and wonderful things.

If you are reading this blog post, then, through synchronicity, you were meant to read it. You were ready to read it. I humbly invite you to reflect on the content of this post and act upon it. Why? Even though we will never meet, I desire that you live a wonderful life in which you are fully awake and aware. Why? Because, in fact, we are all interconnected. Whoever you are, wherever you live, whether it is in my country of the United States, or Singapore or Vietnam or Belgium or anywhere in the world, we are all interconnected. So when your life is righteously enhanced, through our interconnectedness, thus my life is enhanced also.

Highway Or Dead End – Choose Today

This post is meant to be an espresso for your souls. It is time to wake up now. Time for you to hit life’s alarm clock and get out of bed. You have a destiny to achieve that is yours and yours alone. But you cannot achieve it while you are asleep. Plug yourself into God – Divine Intelligence and Wisdom. Then, just follow where God leads you. Peace, Joy, Strength, Sustenance – it is all there for you in the Kingdom of God within.

You have a very important choice to make if you desire to fulfill what you wish and hope to manifest in your precious life. Divine Highway or Dead End. With all my heart, I hope you choose well and choose wisely. Your life depends on it.

Conceive. Believe. Receive.

You Are Energy.

We all know them. Those fellow human beings who seem to delight in being crappy. You may have to deal with them at your place of residence, at your job, at a store or restaurant, at a government office (DMV anybody?), and definitely while you are driving in your car. There is something about being behind the steering wheel of a car that seems to bring out maximum crappiness in some people.

What you have in common with every human being in the world is that you are made up of energy, vibrating energy. Your thoughts, your words, your actions, your feelings, your beliefs all combine to create your unique energy frequency. This frequency could be low, medium or high depending on your overall perspective about life as well as what’s happening in your life on any given day. The higher the frequency of your energy vibration, the better you feel, the more you accomplish, the greater the chance that people enjoy being in your presence. You don’t have to be some enlightened guru to be able to feel somebody’s “vibes”.

The other side of the coin is the person whose energy vibrates at a low frequency. You know that person. He or she is the one who perpetually seems to have a dark cloud hanging over their head. They are the ones who are holding a grudge against the world and take advantage of every opportunity to spread their unhappiness to everyone with whom they come in contact. They are the one who when you see them coming, you quick duck into the bathroom, into the storage room, into anywhere where they are not. This crappy person is the subject of this article. More specifically, the purpose of this article is to disclose a manner of dealing with them that prevents them from spreading their unhappiness to you.

The Gatekeeper

In dealing with this particular problem, the key is for you to recognize that you are a gatekeeper. The gatekeeper of the thoughts that enter you mind. The gatekeeper of the feelings that enter your heart. You, and only you, are the security guard stationed at the “velvet rope”. You decide who to let in and who to throw out. By the word “who” I mean what thoughts you allow to remain in your mind and what feelings you allow to germinate in your heart.

I am sure you have heard the phrase – “He (or she) makes me so mad”. Likewise, I am equally sure that you have heard the phrase – “She (or he) makes me happy”. Wrong on both accounts. You may intensely dislike/hate the words, attitude or actions of the person who “makes you mad”. You may intensely like/love the words, attitudes or actions of the person who “makes you happy”. However, you and only you, are the one to choose how you respond to each person. You are the one who makes yourself angry or happy by your responding thoughts and feelings. Nobody “makes” you anything. All of your “makes me’s” start and end with Y O U. By your response, you are the one who accepts happiness or anger as the proper response. You and only you.

Everybody, at some point in their life, is going to interact with a crappy person. Unless you live in a cave in the mountains as a hermit, you are inevitably going to meet Mr. Crappy or Mrs. Crappy. Maybe a whole bunch of them at different points during your lifetime. Take heart. This article will disclose a specific strategy that you can employ to successfully deal with these situations. It has worked for me and I know it can work for you if you can keep your mind and your heart open and just give it half a chance.

Crappy People Examples

I will give you some examples of what I would classify as a crappy person. First, there is “the boss/supervisor from hell”. Always haranguing you for something or other. No matter what you do, they are not satisfied. Second, we have the unhappy spouse or significant other. As they slide deeper into unhappiness and insecurity, they want nothing more than to drag you down into the pit with them. Third, we have the crappy neighbor who thinks it’s a hoot that their dog craps on your lawn. Or perhaps they are outraged that the dandelions in your yard are creeping over into his pristine lawn. Or maybe they blast their stereo so loud it goes right through the walls of your residence. Fourth, there are the bratty kids who feel entitled to do whatever they want and their parents think they can do no wrong. Fifth, we have the DMV clerk who treats you like you were some type of moron. Sixth, we have Mr. Crappy who thinks he owns the road and can drive any which way he likes. Seventh………oh well, you get the idea. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Unfortunately, crappy behavior abounds.

Resist Not Evil

When I was a kid, I was directed by my parents to attend what was called Sunday school by the church denomination to which we belonged. Sunday school lasted an hour from 10:00 to 11:00 am. When I turned 13, Sunday school ended when you were officially confirmed into full church communion. At the older end of that pre-adolescent timeframe, I started asking questions about certain scriptural verses that required clarification. One of those verses was from the words of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. In the book of Matthew, chapter 5, verse 39, Jesus stated “Resist not evil”.

Don’t resist evil. Most people would have trouble with that one. Does that mean that you are supposed to just stand by passively and let the evil actions of human beings go by unchallenged? It just didn’t sound right to me. Don’t you have the right and responsibility to defend yourself or your loved ones against harm? The response of the Sunday school teacher was that, as Christians, we are always to demonstrate the peace and presence of Christ. We must trust God and not fall into the devil’s trap of fighting evil with evil. I heard his response but still “left the table hungry”, so to speak.

The Golden Key

If you look at the manifestation of evil being a construct of mankind’s error of thought and belief, you can see what Jesus was getting at. When you gear up your inner mental and emotional energy to resist evil, you actually feed the monster and increase its existence and its power over you. You are focusing on the essence of evil instead of the Kingdom of God. In his famous essay, The Golden Key, Emmet Fox touched upon this situation. He stated that when encountering any type of adverse circumstances, just dwell on God. Only God. Let the truth of the Most High fill up every space of your mind, your heart, your soul. Like a tsunami. In your thoughts, make the choice to acknowledge the one true God as the only true Presence.

You always have the right to protect yourself or your loved ones from harm. Always. What “Resist Not Evil” means is this – drawn to its ultimate conclusion, if every human being on the face of the planet refused to accept the illusion of evil, and put God first in everything, evil would disappear. The concept of evil would still exist in order to give meaning to the concept of good. However, the physical manifestation of evil would disappear. Paradise. Jesus gives you the key to dealing with evil. Put the key into the lock. Open the door of understanding.

Well Yeah, Of Course It’s Hard

Regarding “resist not evil” you may say, “OMG do you realize how incredibly hard that is to do in the real world?” When, for example, somebody is beating the shit out of you while they rob you, the last thing on your mind would be “resist not evil”. Yes, it is hard. Very hard. I guess if it were easy to do, the world would not be in the shape that it is in today. When you deeply think about it however, it really does make sense. Think of God. Dwell only in the Kingdom of God within you. Believe in your heart that the Presence of God is around you always. Make this a paramount belief in your daily living. Put God First. You will grow in peace and in power despite any and all circumstances. Peace and Power. That is better than even Batman and Robin! Think of evil, dwell in the paradigm of resisting evil, focusing on the evil and you tragically give the energy of manifested evil ever more power. You only succeed in feeding the monster.

Commit yourself to dwelling only on the Presence of God. Be persistent. Anything new and unfamiliar is always difficult at first. It is similar to learning a new skill or strengthening your body or learning a new language. Make the decision that you are going to do it and that’s that. Simply refuse to give up, no matter what. You will fail at first but It becomes easier as time goes on if you stick with it. Refuse to quit. If you persist you will find yourself experiencing the peace and power of the Kingdom of God within. I guarantee you, you will absolutely love that feeling. Crappiness emanating from different people will substantially fall away. Sometimes immediately. Sometimes after a period of time. But fall away it will.

Oh Yeah, It Works Alright

Your first thought, with regard to this method of dealing with crappy behavior from people, could very well be along the lines of the following – “Yeah right. Just dwell on the presence of God and I’m gonna have sunshine and butterflies and this jerkoff or bitch that is making my life miserable will go away. Get real!”

I would not blame you for feeling that way. I fully understand. By no means should you take anything that I say as truth without testing it fully. Right now, I challenge you to simply put this to the test. Try it in your life. But not in any half-hearted, pussy way but with a true, determined and focused effort with all of your mind, heart and energy. Are you scared to try? Has laziness of mind become your master? Afraid of failure? I fully understand, BUT if you do not try, you have already sentenced yourself to failure. Oh yeah, from my own personal experience, it works alright. That is not the issue. The true question is this: can you summon up your inner courage to commit to it?

A Minor Example

I will give you a brief, minor example from my life. In one of the careers that I have worked, I had a bitchy supervisor who was the queen of acting in a crappy manner. She regularly imposed her authority in daily situations to cover up her insecurities. One day I stepped away from my work duties while talking to a co-employee for a few minutes. This supervisor swooped in and reprimanded me for not performing job duties on company time. She was acting stupidly. I calmly told her so and that her comment was totally unnecessary and counterproductive. She left in a huff.

Rather than use my inner energy thinking along the lines of “I hate that bitch”, I took a few deep breaths and prayed silently – “Thank you God for your eternal Presence. Bless this woman with your peace”. It was hard to do, but I made myself do it. However, at the same time, I had a responsibility to myself to protect myself from her arbitrary actions. During my lunch break, I hand wrote a detailed, truthful summary of the event.

When I proceeded with my work day at a different building, her supervisor came up to me where I was working. Intuitively, I knew the other supervisor had complained to her about me and that she was going to reprimand me. Before she could say anything, I handed her my hand written statement. She took it and read it. Upon finishing reading it, she simply turned and walked away without saying so much as a word. Then I completely took my mind elsewhere, repeating slowly in my mind the words of Jesus “the kingdom of God is within me”.

The Conclusion

The following days and months the bitchy supervisor studiously avoided contact with me. Within three months, through a series of events, she was gone from the company. Just a minor example of how to deal with crappy people through the principle of “resist not evil”. I could give many other examples as well. Manifest the best reality that you can experience during your precious and short lifetime here on planet earth. It always goes back to allowing your knowledge of the Presence of Divine Wisdom to completely fill every part of your being. Like a tsunami. What the human mind believes, humankind receives.
