I Don’t Care — Now It’s Time For You To Stop Caring

Caring Can Be Counter-Productive

Take a look at that guy in the image above. If you wanted to get a look at a guy who has decided upon an act which encompasses an “I don’t care” attitude, there it is. Some may even call it a stupid or crazy or potentially suicidal act. I am going to go ahead and assume that beforehand he knew exactly how wide the crevice was and exactly how long he is able to jump with a running start. It looks like he is wearing shoes that provide him with good traction. Likewise I will assume he checked out the condition of the ground so he would not stumble on approach. It can be imagined that if he advised others what he was preparing to do, at least some of them would advise him not to do it. I know if he told his mother in advance, she would strongly object or at least tell him to put a secure, solid platform across the crevice. In any case, as you can see from the photograph, he obviously made the decision to make the jump and have someone photograph him doing so. For only reasons known to him, he felt that it was something he had to do despite the advice of others not to do it. In a somewhat similar fashion, when through prayer and meditation you have received Divine guidance about a decision, listen with open ears to others but place top priority on that which comes forth from the Kingdom of God within you. That – is what you should always be caring about, first and foremost.

During a job that I worked at for twenty years, I volunteered to be the union shop steward for a facility employing over two hundred employees. I held that position for ten years. The best way to describe the experience is that of being the manager of the complaint department within a large department store in Hell. The union employees that you represent always expect more and the management employees with which you interact resent you for making them adhere to the terms of the contract. This was an unpaid position that was done in conjunction with my hourly wage employment. In effect, you worked two jobs. Why do it? Well, first of all I knew it was something that I could do well due to my personal skill set. Second, management had committed a foolish error in management that affected me personally in a severely adverse way. It was a form of payback I guess you could say. Third, it was a way of having an active role in ensuring workplace justice, which I enjoyed. Many times someone would say to me, “If you go after management for that, they’re gonna really hate you.” My standard response would be “You don’t know how little that means to me. I don’t care”. If I adjusted my actions in accordance with caring whether everyone liked me as a result of those actions, that would have been counter-productive to the entire situation.

Regardless…..

One of those positives that came to me as a result of my experience as a union steward was that I evolved to more frequently seek out, follow, and have confidence in that Inner Light within us that gives us guidance. It became easier to proceed with a philosophy of “just do right, regardless”……..

Regardless of others’ opinions of me as a result.

Regardless of any attempted intimidation or implied threats.

Regardless of whether others would like me

Regardless of whether others would not like me.

Regardless of having an imaginary bullseye on my back as a result.

Following this Inner Light has allowed me to feel more free in my daily life;

Feeling more free in my daily life brought more inner joy into my life experience;

Experiencing more inner joy in my life experience helped me to feel more alive;

Feeling more alive awakened me more acutely to the power of the Kingdom of God within.

The opinions of others are the property of others. The dictates of others are the property of others. (I will like you if you do……../I will not like you if you do……..). Covet not the property of others. With the guidance of Ultimate Intelligence create and tend to your own property.

I have reflected on the causation of errors of thinking that led to negative results in my life. Some of those errors were caused by altering my thoughts, words or actions based on caring how I would be perceived by another person or other persons. There is nothing wrong with listening to the words of others and respecting their opinions unless you allow them to supersede the guidance and direction that comes from your Inner Light. God is supreme. God is first. As Jesus Christ states in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God”. Through ongoing prayer and meditation, know what direction to take, then incorporate respect for the opinions of others into your everyday life. First things first, second things second.

Caring And Uncaring At The Same Time

The word empathy is defined as: the ability to understand the inner feelings of another. Although completely counter-intuitive, it has been my experience that the less that I focus my attention on how I am perceived by others, the more empathy that I have for people. I do not really understand exactly how this happens, but it does. It’s kind of weird. Perhaps it has something to do with a heightening of the perception of the Kingdom of God within.

I must confess that at times I find this enhancement of empathy somewhat disconcerting. I can be observing someone walking on the sidewalk or even seated in their car and all of a sudden I feel a sudden blast of pure empathy for them. Sometimes this even drives me to tears. It’s almost like I can perceive what is inside them. Sometimes it is feeling the adversity that a person is encountering. Sometimes it is feeling the goodness of that person’s heart. Whenever this happens, I immediately am compelled to send out a silent prayer on behalf of that person – “God bless this man richly today. Thank you. Amen”. Or “God bless this woman richly today. Thank you. Amen”. I send forth the prayer with the power of my energy and expect results with faith even though I may never be in a position to observe said results. Why certain people and not everyone? On any given day, I imagine some can use prayer more than others. Anyway, if those empathy blasts happen too frequently, I think my inner wiring would short circuit and smoke would be coming out of my ears in no time.

OK, So How Is This Related To Manifesting

Everything in your life is a manifestation. Manifestations reflect who you are on the inside. Don’t change the world. Change the assumptions that you perceive about yourself. Let others perceive however they choose. That is their property. Your property is how you perceive yourself. Tend to your own property. Whether someone hates you or loves you is their choice. Your choice is to make your life worthwhile and fulfilling, to love yourself unconditionally. Your job is to know what you truly desire, then have faith and believe persistently that you already have it. In an unseen dimension of reality, you DO already have it. That is the very heart of consciously manifesting your reality. Faith in that which is unseen (by others) and your belief in your fulfilling that desire. The strength of your faith – the naturalness of your belief – always supersedes everything else. Make these what you care about and everything else will fall into place for you.

New GPS Directions To Freedom

Goodbye Printed Roadmaps, Hello GPS Devices

Back in the era of the 1990’s, I was actively engaged in self-employment in the field of expedited logistics. The geographic area that I primarily covered was spread over three states. It did however occasionally spill over into four additional states as well. It was the era of the payphone, pagers and county by county detailed printed street maps. In my vehicle I had street maps from over sixty counties in seven states. With the advent of global positioning satellite systems (GPS) on all of today’s smartphones, the day of the printed road map has gone the way of the horse and buggy.

Let’s take the example of the Google Maps app. I have found this to be an exceptional tool for pinpointing exactly where I am on my route as well as telling me the best way to get where I want to go. The GPS tracking system is really a remarkable piece of modern technology. And to make it more foolproof, if you are unable to take your eyes off of the road to glance at the map display, the app even has a lady with a pleasant voice servicing you orally, giving you turn by turn directions.

The GPS system is so accurate that it is kind of eerie when you think about it. My son and I used to joke that in the future you will get a verbal random message from the app in a creepy voice saying, “Remember Mr. Butler, we always know where you are. There is no escape.” When the world’s controllers decide to convince the population of the world to get microchipped (of course, for your safety and protection, they will say) there will be literally no place in the world that you would be able to go to escape the eyes of Big Brother.

I have found the GPS Google Maps app to be very helpful to me in travelling to where I want to go. You cannot derive any benefit from the GPS however unless you open up the Google Maps app on your phone. If the app is closed, it is useless to you. The app is loaded onto the phone but you have to make the choice to open the app. In order to find the best directions to your desired destination, you have to open the app and listen to the directions given.

You Were Born With An Internal GPS Device

Every person ever born has had implanted in them from birth an internal GPS device. This GPS device comes from the ultimate satellite system, Universal Intelligence, Our Original Source. Your internal GPS is similar to that game that you played as a kid. This is the game where you have to find something or someone that is hidden. Another person in the game then tells you either warmer or colder depending on where you are in relation to the hidden item or person.

When you learn to actually listen to your Inner Voice, Your Internal GPS, you then have the wonderful opportunity to connect with Divine Guidance. This guidance is predominantly in the form of a feeling rather than an actual voice. It could also be in the form of a dream or a series of dreams. When choosing a course of action concerning an upcoming decision, when you are connected to Intuition, you actually feel the right course to take, outside of the normal logic of the reasoning mind.

It is natural and certainly helpful to ask others for guidance and advice when you are unclear or confused about a decision that you have to make or a direction that you have to take. Fine. When push comes to shove however, you will always receive excellent directions from your Inner Voice if you will only endeavor to “ask, seek, knock”. The Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers, believe everyone has access to the Inner Light within if they choose and maintain a focus and commitment to listen and hear it.

Four Ways To Hear Your Inner Voice

The key to the whole thing is to stay quiet for long enough so that you can clearly hear. Focus on receiving with gratitude what you need to know. Here are four methods:

Method # 1: Create a special quiet time each day where you forget about everything and just breathe quietly. You can do this through either guided or unguided meditation or you can do it by taking a short walk and just focus on the rhythm of your walking and breathing. For less than a buck a day, you can get a black card from Planet Fitness that gives you access to their hydro-massage lounge. As the streams of water relax your muscles, you can use you ear buds on your phone and listen to Spiegel Im Spiegel while you relax. Spend the ten minutes forgetting everything else and just feeling gratitude.

Method # 2: Pay very close attention daily to how you feel. Do you generally just feel shitty inside? Are you having little hiccups with regard to your health? Do you feel any kind of tightness or heaviness in your chest and gut area? These may be indicators that you are off track. Conversely do you feel a lightness inside, an inner joy that does not have any particular causation? This may be your Inner Guide telling you “You’re right on target. Keep up what your doing!”

Method # 3: Listen with a totally open mind and open heart. Don’t let logic be a dictator. A clenched mind and a clenched heart are prime causations of painful detours and needless dead ends. Be aware that Universal Intelligence is the Ultimate Intelligence. The ways of the Divine may be beyond far ways that you are pondering. Open your heart with earnest prayer thanking Divine Wisdom for this wondrous connection you are blessed with and the answers it provides.

Method # 4: Breathe. Just sit and breathe. Breathe in for four counts through your nose, then hold for seven counts, then breathe out through your mouth for eight counts. Do this three times consecutively. Put your left hand between your chest and your abdomen. Put your right hand over your heart. Then just sit and breathe regularly for a designated time period.

Clearing your connection to your Intuition takes effort and focus and commitment but Oh! the results. Those beautiful results are more than worth your effort. When you allow your Inner Light to be your constant guide, its tantamount to having a cheat sheet for every test of your life.

Live Your Life Free of the Controllers

When you think of the controllers of this world, you may envision a group of people such as government leaders, presidents, dictators, generals, governors, mayors, landlords, mafia thugs, billionaires, industrialists, media moguls, tik tok icons, fashionistas, the world of celebrities, and religious figures.

There is a second group of controllers that you may not have thought of. They include teachers, parents, experts, gurus, girlfriends, boyfriends, spouses, relatives, children, friends, neighbors, co-workers and business associates. Many in this second group will be people that you love and look up to. Where they may become indirect, unconscious controllers is when you consciously veer away from the guidance of your Inner GPS, your Inner Light, in deference to certain choices, opinions and dictates from said group.

You may say “Geez, if you consider all those as controllers than who is there left to listen to?” Deep down, I think you already know the answer to your question. Your Inner Light. Your Inner Voice. The Kingdom of God within you. You can ignore it. You can deny it. You can reject it. You can despise it. That is free will. What you can never do however is escape it. The kingdom of God is within you for your entire life. It is within all human beings because it emanates from Original Source, Your Creator. It is the link. It is the hidden connection that everyone has to the Divine. Right now, it is available to you if you want it. By making a conscious decision to connect with your Inner Light, your Inner GPS, you have the ability to live a life free of the controllers of this world.

Who I Really Want To Help Is —– ME

This Blog Is All About ME Helping ME

This blog is all about me helping me. Boy does that heading sound piggish. It is the truth however. If you want to understand the full meaning behind those words and how they affect you, please continue reading.

The decade of the nineties was an especially difficult time in my life. Yes there were definitely beautiful flashes of joy and times of true happiness. For the most part however these were overshadowed by a relentless grind through one difficult morass after another. My inner pain was real. Look at the image above. That is what it felt like to me at times. At some point during that decade, in order to continue to survive, I had to anesthetize myself on the inside. I interacted with others, talked, listened, laughed, got angry, but on the inside I was numb. It was as if a dentist had given me an inner dose of Novocain. It was a method of coping that is not recommended to anybody unless your very survival is at stake.

During the nineties, employment decisions were made in deference to various other responsibilities. I still have in my possession an employee ID badge with my photograph and identifying information. It was for a job that I couldn’t stand but I had to push through with it nonetheless. After ultimately moving on to other employment, I kept the ID badge. I look at that badge from time to time, especially the eyes in the photo. I see unmitigated pain in the eyes. No tears. No emotion. Just pain. How I wish I could go back in time and help that guy somehow. A good guy who was lost in a fog and just needed some empathetic help.

What is meant when I say “this blog is all about me helping me” is that there are human beings right now with their hand and forearm sticking above the water line, as in the image above, as I was in the nineties, hoping against hope to grab on to some sort of lifeline to avoid drowning in the vicissitudes of life. These humans could be age sixteen or seventy-six. They could be male or female. Their skin complexion could range the entire color spectrum. It does not matter. They are all “me”. This blog is about sharing what I have learned and experienced first hand about consciously manifesting reality to other “me’s” out there now who are slogging through a morass of debilitating circumstances with no apparent end in sight, no light at the end of the tunnel. If I did not have absolute proof from my own life that conscious manifesting techniques produce results, then most assuredly I would not be wasting my precious remaining time in this world writing these blog posts each week. My method of going back to that 1990’s me and helping him is to offer up through this blog, information that has helped me, and entertaining the hope that it will help others in the here and now.

Grain By Grain, Drop By Drop, Inch By Inch

So from birth to death, our lives slowly proceed, day by day, grain by grain, inch by inch, drop by drop. Until that one day when your name is listed in the daily death notices. Do you ever read the death notices? An example might be as follows: John Q. Public, age 83, died last Tuesday at St. John’s Hospice after a short illness. John was survived by blah, blah, blah. John was loved by everyone and led a full life. He worked at Smith Brothers Labs for 31 years retiring as vice-president for research. He was loved by everyone and led a full life. John volunteered 99 hours a week at the church mission and still had time for his loving wife, 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as the many orphans that he and his wife adopted. John enjoyed going to be beach, bowling, gardening and feeding stray animals. John was loved by everyone and led a full life. He will be sorely missed by everyone, even those who never knew him. Services will be held at Quigley Funeral Home tomorrow at 7:00 pm. Burial services will be at Peaceful Valley Cemetery the following morning at 10:00 am. John’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: The Little Old Ladies Who Sit By The Window Knitting Foundation.

I am one of those old school guys who still read the newspapers (even though I also get news from the internet). And yes, I do read the death notices. Some of them have photographs of the deceased, I usually scan all the notices to note the age of the person when they died. Some have long biographical descriptions of the events of their life. Others have a brief biography. Yet others just give out the age at death, family members and funeral service information. Occasionally there will be the poignant notice of the death of a child which inevitably moistens my eyes. Although I still hold out hope, I have never read any death notice that says, “Joe was a useless SOB and all in the family are relieved that he has finally croaked so they can at least grab a few bucks from his estate.”

How would you construct your own newspaper death notice? Are you completely satisfied with what your life has been? How do you think your afterlife life review in the hereafter will go for you? While you cannot un-do what has been done in your life, are there things yet undone that you intensely desire to do with your remaining time? What is your reason for wanting to do these things? Is the impetus from the outside or from within you. While I am not qualified to judge anybody, including myself, I humbly submit that if your life is swayed by outside influences, you need to take a time out. The Kingdom of God is within you. The Kingdom of God should be your sole indicator. Take full advantage of your time out to listen, really listen, to guidance from within. Every day of life is so precious that to ignore guidance from Universal Intelligence within is a grievous mistake. It could render your death notice along the lines of “He could have, but sadly, he chose not to”.

Start, get started today, consciously manifesting the reality that fulfills the dreams of your Imagination. You really can you know, if you choose to.

Why The F Were You Born Anyway?

Getting back to the humans listed in the daily death notices, I wonder about the people listed in the notice. I wonder if they felt that they “hit the mark” of why they were born into the world in the first place. Are you like a bird or a squirrel that is born, lives and dies and the world just keeps going with new birds and new squirrels. With humans, after a few generations, memory of you fades away as if you were never here. Maybe a gravestone, maybe some family mementos. If you are a bigshot you might have something named after you. If you are Abraham Lincoln or George Washington you’ll get your own memorials and dozens of books written about you. Then let’s say that sooner or later humans finally succeed in their efforts to obliterate the entire human race (nuclear war, intentional pandemics, biological warfare, etc.). After a period of time, the earth would be cleansed of radiation or bacterium and a new dominant species of being would come forth. If that was the case, why the F were you born anyway?

I submit to you that you were born to enter into union with your Creator and to act as a conduit for exhibiting the Power, the Intelligence, the Imagination, the Love of the creative and unifying force of everything, everywhere – God. Whatever you are called to do, to say, to speak, to think, by your Inner Light, nothing else matters. What happened before and what happens after doesn’t matter. Even if the entire earth disintegrates and nothing is left but space dust (and perhaps your dirty underwear), if you heed the call of the Voice Within, your life will be an unqualified success. You will be giving spiritual fist pumps and shouting “Yes” when you subsequently view your life review. We are all here to manifest the Divine Force by consciously manifesting the dreams of our God-given Imagination. Those that were born with mental restrictions are here to teach us how to manifest selfless Love. Conscious manifesting always was the plan of why you were born. It is life. Choose life.
